Discover Affirming & Collaborative Diagnostic Assessments for ADHD/Autism
In an effort to increase access in the neurodivergent community Prism Therapy Collective provides Diagnostic Assessments. Prism supports self-identification and recognizes that there is often still a desire to have a mental health clinician confirm what you already suspect about yourself and your experience.
The assessment process will vary based on an individual's needs and desired use of the diagnosis. Whether this is for self understanding, therapeutic use or access to accommodation or medication support, we are happy to work with you to determine the best fit.
Please note that different institutions (school, healthcare, work) may have varying requirements for diagnosis. We recommend that you look at what is required if you are seeking accommodations with a specific program. We are happy to help sort this out with you. This diagnostic process is not a psychological evaluation.
Confidentiality is our priority and your private medical information will not be provided to any entity without your express written permission. Prism remains actively informed of the conversations impacting those with Autism, ADHD and the broader neurodivergent community.
What does a diagnostic assessment and diagnosis support?

Please note this assessment will not support federal or state access to social security disability benefits, IEPS, and some other services
Why choose M as your provider?
M is an independently licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience working with neurodiverse individuals. They have extensive training in assessment, evaluation, and best practices for neurodivergent individuals. M understands that many individuals have gone undiagnosed or misdiagnosed (sometimes for years!) due to outdated and non-affirming understandings of both ADHD and Autism. Through the use of evidence-based clinical tools and a trauma-informed diagnostic interview process, M hopes to provide an affirming, collaborative experience for those looking for answers.
